Holidays Observed for Trash Schedule:

• New Year’s Day - One day delay
• Memorial Day - One day delay
• Independance Day - One day delay
• Labor Day - One day delay
• Thanksgiving - One day delay
• Christmas Day - One day delay

** If our pickup day falls on a holiday, your trash will be picked up the following day. This excludes holidays that fall on a Saturday or Sunday. 

Waste Management provides 3 different means of picking up and depositing your weekly household waste: household trash, recycling and yard waste.

Household Trash:
All regular household trash will be picked up on Mondays beginning at 7:00 a.m. Trash pickup will always be on Mondays unless there is a conflict with a holiday. 
• Household trash is limited to 95 gallons of waste. 
• All Cherry Hill Residents can get a free trash container. Please call: 1-800-796-9696.
• Trash must be pulled to the curb.
• All trash containers must be kept out of site until within 24hrs of scheduled pickup.

Yard Waste:
Every Monday. Same schedule as trash - all year long. Note that from January 1, 2023-February 28th 2023 you must call Waste Management and request a bag pickup
Jan-Sept. = 8 bags of yard waste
Oct.-Dec. = 10 bags of yard waste

• An Acceptable Yard Waste/ Compost “item” for residential curbside pickup is a paper compost bag of grass clippings and or leaves and bundles of limbs/twigs no longer than 4 feet in length and 18 inches in diameter, tied with twine and a max weight of 50 lbs. or 32 gal max, rigid container, level with the top of the container with a max weight of 50 lbs. 
• Unacceptable yard waste/compost items for residential curbside pickup consists of : logs/firewood and railroad ties.


Recycle:
• Recycling pick-up is on Mondays, the same day as regular scheduled trash pick-up.
• All Cherry Hill Residents may receive a recycling container for free. Please Call: 1-800-796-9696. 
• Recycling is not accepted in plastic bags.

Bulk Item Pickup

Need to dispose of furniture, mattresses, or other large household items? Residents can schedule a bulk pickup directly through Waste Management.

If you have 1–2 bulk items:

  • Select the item type(s).

  • Schedule your pickup online.

  • The first two bulk items included with our HOA service are collected at no additional charge.

If you have more than 2 bulk items:

  • Use the Support/Chat option on the WM website.

  • A WM representative will:

    • Review your list of items.

    • Apply the two included bulk items.

    • Provide pricing for any additional items.

    • Collect payment (if applicable) and schedule your pickup.

Note: Accepted items, availability, and any additional fees are determined by Waste Management and may vary by location.

Please do not place bulk items at the curb until you have scheduled your pickup with WM.
